Japan's industrial output rises 1.4%; jobless rate rises to 2.5%

Japan's industrial output rose 1.4 percent in February from the previous month, snapping a three-month losing streak, as rebounding exports helped the auto sector, government data showed Friday while unemployment rate rose to 2.5 percent in January, reflecting an increase in the number of women quitting their jobs to look for better positions amid the tightest labor market in decades, government data showed Friday.
